My Name is Dee Gingrich, and I make Amish dolls. They are signed, dated, and given a name to make them more personable. Out of respect for the beliefs of the Amish people,  I do not put faces on the Amish dolls. I have had Amish dolls go to a lot of states and some foreign countries. I hope you enjoy having them, as much as I enjoy making them.

Prairie Pillowcase dolls stem from the early settlers who came in covered wagons. They made the little girls dolls from old pillowcases and did not put any faces on them. They were cherished by the little girls who played with them on the trail to make the trip more enjoyable.
